At Cisco Live Melbourne 2024, Coles and ICM hosted a national MasterTech challenge. An intensive five-day sprint where student teams from Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth tackled store sustainability challenges. Concepts included AI to detect customer interaction with products, a smart shelf, a smart shopping cart, an eco-swap system to help customers reduce environmental impact, and even a bold reinvention of the entire shopping experience.
